University Partnership Program at

Allied Health Studio Collective

At the Allied Health Studio Collective our senior clinician’s partner with Australian universities, including the University of Melbourne, Deakin University and Flinders University, to provide our next generation of clinicians with valuable skills, support and training.

Our University Partnership Program supports Masters level students studying psychology, occupational therapy or speech pathology, to gain first hand clinical experience. Students complete from 300 to 600 hours of clinical work during their time with us.

Our Program supports emerging clinicians to apply evidence based practice and discipline specific knowledge to assess and support children, adolescents and adults. Placement students spend time observing our clinicians in their work, participating in team projects, team learning opportunities, and manage their own client case load under direct supervision with a focus on individualised care as is consistent across our practice.

The University Partnership Program benefits emerging clinicians but also benefits our team and our clients. Our team continually reflect on their own practices, mindful of what we do, why and how, and share our experiences and knowledge with early career clinicians. For our clients, this program offers shorter waiting times and reduced rates with a high degree of clinical oversight by our senior team.

If you would like to work with one of our placement students, or have any questions, please contact our admin team.
