2024 Service Fees
These fees apply from the 1st of January 2024.
Please note, individual sessions (face to face or virtual) are only one element of the work that we provide, to support our clients needs. Attending team meetings, email or phone correspondance, assessments, report writing, written/phone/in person consultations with your employer, school, or other clinician’s in your care team are also invoices a service fee.

Fee Schedule for Social Skills Groups
Group program costs vary depending on the program theme, duration and number of participants involved. Contact admin to find out the cost of a specific program, per participant.
Group programs with 4 or more participants will attract a Medicare rebate under a valid Mental Health Care Plan.
Social Skills Group Programs can be funded under the NDIS.

Fee Schedule for Cognitive, Behavioural, Occupational or Speech and Language Assessments
Cognitive, Behavioural and Educational Assessments are conducted by a Psychologist.
Behavioural and Sensory Assessments are conducted by an Occupational Therapist.
Speech and Language Assessments are conducted by a Speech Pathologist.
NDIS Application Reports or Review Reports are provided by all clinicians. Please provide 6 weeks notice for an NDIS report to be prepared on time.
Clinical Assessments involve the use of standardised tools that have been validated to objectively determine a clients needs, strengths/challenges or diagnosis. Our clinicians also provide individualised recommendations based on the outcomes of the assessments.
Clinical Assessments are comprehensive processes that can take several sessions, and several weeks for completion.
Our Assessment Fee Schedule is determined by the clinician’s hourly rate, the cost of the certified assessment form/s ($5-25 each), and the time required to (1) administer the assessment/s, (2) score the assessment/s, (3) evaluate the results, (4) produce a report, and (5) meet with the client/parents and/or teacher to discuss the results and recommendations.
Clinical Assessments with reports and feedback meetings can range from $900 - $2200 including GST.
If you or your child require a formal clinical assessment, discuss your needs with your clinician. Your clinician will then provide an individualised Fee Schedule and time line based on the scope of work required. The assessment will proceed once approved by you.

Cancellation Fees & Policy
Appointments cancelled within 48 hours (or on a Thursday for a Monday appointment) will incur a $120 cancellation fee.
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will incur the full fee.
SLS reserves the right to discontinue service if appointments are regularly rescheduled or cancelled as this does impact our ability to offer services to individuals who are in need of these appointments, or waiting for service.
NDIS Participants - additional cancellation option.
The NDIS recognise that some of their participants experience challenges that impact their ability to attend appointments and might experience a higher cancellation rate than others. This can impede access to services over time. To support this, the NDIS will pay for a cancelled appointment (if that time could not be rebooked) within 7 days of cancellation. If your circumstances increase your likelihood of frequent cancellations, and you are an NDIS participant, please let us know if the 7 day cancellation fee policy supports your needs.
2024 Fees Schedule Ts&Cs
This page sets out the fees and charges of our offer to provide clinical services and other related services to you, it constitutes our costs agreement and disclosure pursuant to our obligation. Please become familiar with this page as all services delivered by us are charged according to this fee schedule.

1. Please note that we do not bulk bill.
2. A Medicare rebate can be claimed if you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
3. We are not a registered NDIS provider, however, we welcome Self-Managed and Plan-Managed clients.
4. Travel time for off-site appointments - charged per minute at the clinician’s standard rate
5. Phone consults charged in 15min blocks at the clinician’s standard rate
6. A consultation is for 50 minutes and charged for 50 minutes even if you arrive late.
7. All invoices to be paid within 7 days. Please pay on the day, immediately after the appointment if possible.
8. Our cancellation and/or rescheduling policy for individual consults are strictly observed.
9. Overdue Invoices - Invoices are considered overdue if they have not been paid within 7 days. All overdue invoices will incur a late payment processing fee of $10 per fortnightly reminder.
10. Phone calls, emails, reports, preparation of written documentation, and resource development is not included in the cost of a standard consultation and are charged separately. Please note: Non-treatment reports attract GST.
11. If you run into unexpected circumstances that might affect your ability to pay on time, please contact our administration team at reception before the due date of the invoice. We can help provide options such as a payment plan.
12. While we formally review our fees annually, we reserve the right to update this schedule at any given time.
