Leah has a special interest in student engagement and supporting children and adolescents who are struggling with school refusal difficulties. Leah has an intuitive, warm counselling style, and a humorous side, helping young people feel at ease and understood.
Leah has extensive experience, built over a decade of work with young people as a clinical social worker, including delivered clinical intervention under the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit at The Royal Children's Hospital.
Equipped with various therapeutic intervention tools, such as positive behaviours, emotional regulation and social communication training, Leah has helped many young people reach their developmental goals.
At the Social Learning Studio Leah is a trained facilitator of the Friendship Saver and provides individual counselling, social skills training, and behaviour management support to young people and their families.
