An Opportunity Awaits - Occupational Therapist to Join Our Team

The Social Learning Studio is a creative and quirky practice made up of a small team of enthusiastic clinician's working in close collaboration to empower individuals and their families. 

With an OT leaving for overseas, we have a new position vacant for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to jump in for immediate hand-over with clients ready to go.  The role is full time but can be part time (contractor position).

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide assessment and intervention support to a caseload of children, their families and schools.  Working in a team to deliver services in collaboration, your clients would be aged 4 to adulthood.  

You would support individuals with High Functioning Autism, Giftedness, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder,  Sensory Processing difficulties and learning challenges.

At the Social Learning Studio we love to take on novel community projects, also inviting you to join our brainstorming team the deliver seminars, workshops and presentations for schools, organisations and our wider community.

Skills & Experience

In order to thoroughly enjoy this career move, you would require the following:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA Registration in Victoria.

- Three or more years experience.

- Current WWCC and police check.

- Commitment to clients and client outcomes.

- Excellent time management skills.

- Positive, professional and friendly manner.

- A flair for connecting with young people. 

- Current drivers licence and willingness to offer in-house and school based intervention.

- An ability to work autonomously and openly as part of a team.
